STATEMENT OF FAITH

Statement of Faith for the AGAPE LIVE MINISTRIES INDIA

1. THE SCRIPTURES

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God; fully inspired, without error, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that is has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16).

2. THE GOD HEAD

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John1:1,2). These three are equal in every divine perfection and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation and redemption (John 15:2).

3. THE FATHER

We believe in God the Father, Creator of Heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of people, that He hears and answers prayer (Matthew 6:6), and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ (John 1:12).

4. THE SON, JESUS CHRIST

We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, making atonement for the sin of the world by His substitutionary death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His present high priestly intercession for His people (Hebrews 9:24), and His personal, visible, and imminent (Hebrews 9:28) return to this earth according to His promise.

5. THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ (John 16:7,8).

6. THE SALVATION OF MAN

We believe that man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26), that he sinned in Adam, and that every person by nature and by choice are sinners, and have incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God (Romans 3:23). We also believe that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Therefore, those who by faith, apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies, accept Christ as Lord and savior are justified on the ground of His shed blood and become children of God. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust (I Corinthians 15:22, Acts 18:31). The saved will rejoice forever in God’s presence and the lost will be forever separated from God in everlasting conscious punishment. We believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith (Jude 2:4).

7. THE CHURCH

We believe the church is a living, spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and of which all regenerated people are members. We believe that a visible church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, buried and raised with Him in baptism and associated for worship, work, and fellowship (Ephesians 1:22,23). We believe that to these visible churches were committed, for observance “till He com,” the ordinances of baptism (Matthew 3:13-15) and the Lord’s Supper (I Corinthians 11:23-26); and that God has laid upon these churches the task of persuading a lost world to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and to enthrone Him as Lord and Master. We believe that human betterment and social improvement are essential products of the Gospel. We believe that church and state must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from the dictation or patronage of the other.

8. CHRISTIAN RESPONSIBILITY

We believe that we are divinely obligated to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our faith compels us to bring the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to a lost world. (Luke 10:27, Matthew 28:18-20).

EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY

Evangelistic Outreach is ALM most DIRECT method of accomplishing the task of reaching the People of India with the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ. Lasting four to five days, several Village, town, and City EVANGELISTIC campaigns are held Every Year, reaching thousands of People The evangelistic Meetings in GUDIVADA is the largest gathering Reaching up to 50,000 PEOPLE'S. Every Year respond to the call to respond to the message of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Ministry

All of the Ministries of the AGAPE GOSPEL FELLOWSHIP INDIA'S MISSION are SUPPORTED with much Prayer. During the annual evangelistic MEETINGS prayer TENTS are set up for round the clock PRAYER. Church congregations and Pastor's pray regularly for God’s blessing, encouragement, and Support in Reaching People.

Word of God Free BIBLE'S Distributed

💕INDIA PRAYER AND HELP REQUEST: Every month, Our Pastor's and Gospel Team go to a Gospel camp to spread Jesus' name in India. We Preach His true love to EveryOne in need. Many People are asking for a Bible's. Available India Holy Bible Each Bible$6 but we need Bibles Only Available India and used clothing for the Gospel service. We also have Children's sick and suffering from colds and fever. Please remember these Orphan kids in your prayers. We need grocery items: soaps, rice, oil, vegetables, and any food products. Please support these Children's with your humble hearts, love, and kindness. So many Children's are in need. Let's all do a little bit with what God has generously given to us. Thank you.

The Need in India is a Beautiful and diverse Country. Many People's who come here have fallen in love with the warmth of the culture and hospitality of the People. Almost everyone who visits India, however, is deeply moved by the widespread poverty and disease.

With 1.4 billion People's India is one of the largest, neediest and most unreached countries in the world. Agape of the World’s Orphanage live in India.

There are over 30 million Child laborers or Children sold into slavery. HIV/AIDS, malaria, polio, leprosy and Water borne diseases are rampant. Most of the Poor cannot afford health care. Massive flooding and high temperatures wreak havoc upon the population almost annually. Food, medical care, education, and love are so very needed..!!

Vacation Bible School Agape Children's of Christ Ministry.

More than 1000 Children's attended VBS this Every Year. We were truly Blessed by the response. The VBS team of 40 Teacher's and Volunteers led the Children's in Worship and fun Activities.

Sunday School & Vacation Bible School.

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it”. Proverbs 22:6

The Sunday School Aims to foster with in Each Child the desire to discover God in a Personal way. The Church strives to nurture their Spiritual growth and bring Them into a Personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Sunday School commences every Sunday along with the Church Worship Service at 9:30 am. It comprises of two sessions – the General session followed by the Classroom session.

The General session commences with Prayer followed by singing of action Songs and choruses. The Senior Children’s Volunteers lead the Littles Ones in lively singing. Those Gifted with the talent of Playing musical instruments, accompany the singing. Children are encouraged to Share Testimonies of God’s Goodness towards them at the end of this session, along with wishing and Praying for those celebrating their Birthday’s on that day and the week ahead. At times Speakers from outside Mission's are invited to handle the session.

The Children are then segregated into their Classes depending on their age Group as Beginners, Pre-Primary, Primary, Juniors, Junior-High, Intermediates and Seniors. In Each Class a Bible Lesson is taught using the Agape Children’s of Christ Ministry. are encouraged to memorize verses from the Bible. Coloring for tiny tots, Games and activities for the other Children are added to make the Classes more Interesting and lively.

The group-wise Classes is conducted in an environment of Learning and sharing which Presents an Opportunity for the Children to interact more freely and informally with their respective Teachers. During Class the Children are encouraged to ask questions, make Prayer Requests and Share.

Children's are also shown film on the life history of Great Missionaries which has Always been a great challenge to the young minds and has enabled Real transformation of Lives.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

The Nativity Play during Christmas Service is enacted Every Year in December. A lot of preparation and practice go into this through the hard work and dedication of the Sunday School Teachers.

Children are also encouraged and Helped in gearing up for Inter-Church competitions like quizzes and Bible examinations. They also regularly appear for the Pastor THOTA OBADIAH Scripture Examination hosted by the Church. Our Children’s have regularly performed exceedingly well and bagged prized in these competitions.

The Sunday school has a Superintendent at the helm and ably assisted by a Group of dedicated Teachers and Volunteers in running the Sunday School Activities.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is conducted Every Year during April - August 2023 Year for Children’s. The participants are Children from the vicinity of the Church Along with the Children of Our regular Church Sunday School. The Church has been conducting VBS for the past several decades. VBS is handled by a set of dedicated Teachers and Volunteers from Our Church under the Leadership of a VBS Director. At times, the Service of Outside Missions such as Scripture Union has also been Taken.
